This update also adds new scroll sub folder navigation for HyperDeck Shuttle HD so you can navigate and view your entire drive, including clips in subfolders. This verifies that your HyperDeck is a trusted source, able to interact with your browser. With a new network security option, you can generate a secure certificate for authentication for an added extra layer of security. This means you’ll be able to view, drag and drop files in your web browser, making it easier to upload or download media. There’s also added HTTP and HTTPS file browsing and transfer which allows files to be transferred between computers over a secure network. In addition, new network time protocol lets you sync your HyperDeck to the current network time to ensure that everyone is working on media with the same time stamp. Unlike recording to separate media cards, with all HyperDecks recording into the same Blackmagic Cloud Store, it becomes easy for multiple people on the network to work on a job because all media is in a central location. This allows you to record multicam footage from multiple HyperDeck Extreme models into a Blackmagic Cloud Store. Today we released HyperDeck 8.3 which adds support for network record and playback.
